Your data has never been more secure: 24 hour security, biometric access,
backup power generators, industrial grade computers and firewalls, daily backups,
etc. You're always in control: you can download all of your case and client
information at any time with just a click.
Security is paramount when dealing with sensitive case and client information.
Copilot's sole purpose is to track and manage this type of data. The following
security measures are being utilized to protect your data from unauthorized
access.
- Copilot uses the same 128-bit encryption used by your
bank. SSL (Secure Socket Layer) is the industry standard for protecting network
access to servers on the Internet. SSL utilizes the strongest RC4 encryption
at 128 bits to make it virtually impossible for a 3rd party to eavesdrop
on an Internet user's session and intercept your data as you are accessing
it.
- Copilot uses a firewall in conjunction with other technologies to prevent
direct access to your data unless you first are authorized by the system
to access the data.
- Copilot runs on industrial grade equipment, typically
much more robust than you would purchase for your law office.
- Copilot Internet and database servers have redundant
network connectivity to prevent service interruption.
- Copilot Internet and database servers are powered by
redundant power supplies including battery backup and generators.
- Copilot data is backed up automatically more than once
a day and you can download your data to your office computer at any time.
